Do all of the properties have microwaves?

Most properties have microwaves as standard, as indicated by the icon on the property page. If you require a microwave, in a property that does not have one, please ask us in advance and we will supply one for you.

Do the properties have babygates?

All of our properties can be fitted with baby gates. Please request this in advance.

Do the properties have baby and toddler equipment?

We can provide all of the baby equipment you will need with baby & toddler packs available by reservation.

Do all of the properties have TV's?

A lot of our properties have TV's, as indicated by the icon on the property page, but not all. Properties with TV's all have the standard french channels, plus either a Skybox with English freeview channels or Netflix. If your property does not have have TV, you can rent a TV / DVD player, with a selection of movies to choose from.

Do all of the properties have washing machines?

Most of the properties have a washing machine, as indicated by the icon on the property page. For the few that do not have their own washing machine, there is a central laundry facility, available for use by all.

Are towels and linen included?

Yes, towels and linen are included with all bookings, unless specifically agreed otherwise.

Are extra beds available?

Some properties have a sofa-bed, as indicated under the property details.

Where is my property at Longeveau?

At the bottom of the Accommodation page, just above the 'Frequently Asked Questions' is a link to the Longeveau Map, indicating where all of the properties are.

Is Longeveau separate to Puygironde?

Our estate is split between two small hamlets, a short stroll from each other. Puygironde is located at the top of the lane. Longeveau, with all of the facilities, is about a 5 minute stroll down the lane. It is approximately 400 metres. Due care and attention is always required, but it is a quiet single lane road, with access to Longeveau and a farm only.

Do we need a car to visit Longeveau?

A car is not essential, however we would recommend it. Every year, we will have a few guests that come and enjoy Longeveau and all of its facilities, without need for a car.  However the shops, beaches and local villages are generally a short drive away meaning that we do recommend having a car if possible.

If you are attending a wedding or group event, please ask the person organising. The likelihood, is you will not need transport while you are here.

Is there a train station nearby?

Our nearest main line train station is Angouleme, about 45kms from here. We have 2 x local stations, Montmoreau-Saint-Cybard and Chalais, which are both about 15kms from here. Both of these have a limited service from Angouleme or Bordeaux.

Is there a bus stop nearby?

Unfortunately we are not served by any buses.

How many holes is the course?

We are a nine hole, FFG registered golf course. 2 x 2,011 metres.

Is the course open to the public?

The golf course is open to everyone. Occasionally we have Club Competitions or private events, but otherwise we are open to everyone, all of the time.

Is FFG membership obligatory?

All members are required to take a licence with the FFG, which includes your insurance. Please ask a member of the Association for more details.

Is Association membership obligatory?

Membership of the Association is not obligatory. However it is a very low annual price, which helps support competitions, social events and other voluntary aspects of the club. All Club Members must have Association Membership, if you wish to play in any of the competitions.
